Szerelmey were an integral part of this award winning project at the National Gallery, which included internal marble cladding and flooring as well as cleaning, restoration and repair to the existing historic marbles. Materials for the project included Portland stone and Cornish granite from the UK, Azul Cascais from Portugal, Chateaux Jaune from France and stone from Belgium and Tunisia. In addition to the new-build and restoration work the specialist Szerelmey team were also responsible for carving over 11000 incised letters for donor plaques to the main entrance, and to an existing Portland stone table above the east entrance door.
