Facades
We specialise in full envelope design from the supporting structures out, including all cavities, membranes, calculations, drainage, fixing systems and installation of the cladding. Our team can offer material advice on suitability and sustainability and will work with a whole range of hard bodied materials from stone to brick, faience, pyrolave and precast. In addition to traditional precast we also design prestressed, pretensioned stone elements to facilitate the use of structural stone without using concrete. Our specialists are keen to engage at any stage, but we advise getting involved in the early design stages through meetings and/or engagement with a PCSA, which can help to speed the process up further down the line, saving money and time.

INTERNALS
Our Interiors team delivers high quality internal finishes across all client sectors of high end residential, commercial, public, leisure, retail, educational and ecclesiastical projects. Specialist materials include marble, granite, limestone, slate, faience, mosaics, terrazzo and stone composites. We provide full design and technical specifications, testing, sampling and ‘dry lay’ inspections at point of fabrication. Our interior expertise includes: wall cladding and linings, feature walls, floors, bathrooms, wet rooms, pools and spas, ceilings and lightweight suspended ceilings, bespoke staircases, backing and secondary structures and high performance calcium sulphate raised flooring.

HARD LANDSCAPING
Szerelmey specialises in complex and challenging hard landscaping projects, with all design works undertaken in house by our experienced team of designers and engineers. We offer complete landscaping solutions including surface drainage through to the installation of bespoke, natural stone and other hard body materials. We will advise on material selection based on performance, aesthetic and sustainable requirements. Our services include: high specification paving and setts, elaborate planters and benches, detailed terraces, custom water features, public spaces and squares, architectural gardens, grand forecourts and Porte Cocheres.

FAIENCE + TERRACOTTA
Szerelmey is the leading specialist in the use of faience and terracotta for modern architectural and construction purposes. Our experience in the use of this material is based on many decades of working with faience and terracotta, both in its repair and restoration and in its use for modern construction. We will provide early design and material advice, which is essential when looking to use this material. Our specialist faience team has a wealth of knowledge and skill and strong relationships with our trusted group of manufactures. Design + BIM
Our inhouse Design team comprises designers, engineers, technicians and architects and sits at the heart of our business. The team specialise in solving complex design challenges, and in addition to the selection and design of cladding, interiors, hard landscaping, faience and restoration, they are actively involved in the research and development of bespoke fixing systems and the use of innovative materials. The team participates in and delivers BIM level 2 compliant information as required, between stage 4-Design and stage 5-Build and Commission as set out in our own Design Office Protocol including BIM information Management to BS EN ISO 19650-1 & 2/2018.
