Architect: Stanton Williams
Package Value: £550K
Riverwalk House is a luxury residential development on the River Thames adjacent to Vauxhall Bridge and a short walk from Tate Britain. Architects Stanton Williams designed two organically shaped buildings that sit one behind the other recalling the curved forms of the river.
Szerelmey were contracted to supply and install the ground floor cladding in Cabeca Veada, a Portuguese limestone, and the grey granite plinth. Each piece of stone is slightly curved – there is not one straight piece in the cladding with each piece having a different radian. Our design department provided our supplier with cad drawings from which the pieces were manufactured. and individually carved in Portugal, and numbered to ensure they were installed in the correct order.
Szerelmey also installed a new granite staircase leading from Vauxhall Bridge to the courtyard of the building.
