North East Quadrant (NEQ)

Szerelmey undertook a large portion of the interior stone work including the installation of the reception area flooring. The central portion of the floor incorporates a geometric pattern that echoes the primary shapes used in the design of the whole building. This central area of patterning incorporates brushed Spanish Argent stone with inlaid pieces of white marble. Szerelmey installed Argent stone flooring to the entire ground floor reception area and lift lobbies as well as undertaking the screeding and under floor heating, and installing the entrance matting wells.

In addition Szerelmey laid all the stone flooring to the lift lobbies floors 1-13, and installed the lift car floors using thin panels of Argent stone adhered to a lightweight aluminium honeycomb backing to reduce weight. The upper lift lobby floors were installed using a raised pedestal calcium sulphate flooring system to reduce installation time and maximise efficiency. Finally, polished concrete flooring was laid to the café area and porcelain tiles installed in all the restrooms.
