Szerelmey were responsible for the external hard landscaping and cladding to the new Sammy Ofer wing of the National Maritime Museum. The building went on to win a number of awards on completion, including a RIBA London Award.

The natural Portland Stone cladding was designed in-house and installed by Szerelmey, allowing the rectangular panels to complement the glazed elements in the 3m high extension. The juxtaposition of Portland stone cladding and glazing creates a very effective contemporary aesthetic.

This contemporary aesthetic continues with the large scale exterior landscaping, undertaken by Szerelmey and incorporating paving, steps and two water features. We carried out additional hard landscaping on the roof terrace and outside the main entrance.
