Szerelmey Restoration were contracted to undertake a series of refurbishment works at Piccadilly Circus Underground Station in preparation for the new Frank Pick Memorial, unveiled November 7, 2016. Frank Pick was Managing Director of London Underground in the 1920s and first Chief Executive of London Transport. He was responsible for commissioning the iconic London Underground branding and corporate identity.

The memorial is in the form of a permanent artwork by installation artists Langlands & Bell. Szerelmey removed all the old bronze panels and telephone kiosks at the back of the station, replacing them with travertine tiles. A new aperture, with accompanying structural work, was made to the back wall to accommodate a set of double doors to match an existing set further along the wall. A series of historic lettering was also carefully removed, photographed and taken to the London Underground Museum to go on display.
