Your Mental Health First Aiders are here for you

Stress, anxiety and depression are the biggest cause of sickness absence in our society. Mental ill health is responsible for 91 million working days lost every year.

Szerelmey are committed to helping create a workplace where people feel they can talk and get support when they require. We are affiliated with Mates in Mind and Building Mental Health Charter so together we can be the change needed to improve workplace mental health.

There are plenty of different types of support out there, and a Mental Health First Aider can help you access them. In 2018, we started with 2 trained mental health first aiders, but we now have a team of 12 who are based in our offices and on site. They are a point of contact for employees to reach out to if they are worried about colleagues, or are struggling themselves. They are not therapists or psychiatrists, but they can give you initial support and signpost you to appropriate help if required.

If you have any questions about Mental Health, please contact one of our Mental Health First Aiders from the poster, alternatively go to www.mhfaengland.org. Szerelmey has trained Mental Health First Aiders on site – look for the sticker on hard hats.

We have developed a series of posters for offices and our sites that provide clear information and help points for people who are suffering. We have Posters are available in 4 different languages.
