What a Beauty!

It is great to see 48 Carey Street, a PLP designed building, taking shape with the sandstone and faience cladding looking fantastic. Szerelmey have undertaken the SFS backing structure and all of the cladding which includes 400 prefabricated, post-tensioned sandstone columns. We are looking forward to getting finished shots in February 2019, when our work will be complete. PLPs designs for this substantial residential block takes account of the historical context of the area and offers a reinterpretation of the masonry and fenestrations of adjacent buildings. Szerelmey are currently also working with PLP at One Bishopsgate Plaza.
