Szerelmey have undertaken extensive restoration work to both the exterior and interior of this residential terrace. Initially, work was carried out to three large internal staircases, with much of the work focused on the metal balustrading and stair rails. All the metal work was wet and dry blasted using a Torbo system and then treated with a primer, and made ready for redecoration by others. Szerelmey have also undertaken extensive repair work to the Portland stone stair stringers, cleaned the external facades in their entirety and carried out in situ restoration and stonework indenting throughout. The team dismantled 15 dormer windows and repaired and rebuilt them. New Portland stone chimney caps and chimney pots were installed to the six chimneys stacks and extensive repairs and replacements made to a number of carved stone lion heads. The restoration team have also repointed the majority of the stonework and brickwork.
