One Evening, Two Awards!
Last Friday’s Civic Trust Awards 2017 saw two buildings undertaken by Szerelmey pick up awards. 10 New Burlington Street, designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris won Commended for its engaging regeneration of two adjacent blocks on the West side of Regent Street. Szerelmey installed all the internal faience cladding, external faience cladding and Portland stone soffits.
In addition, we laid the terrazzo flooring throughout the reception area, lift lobbies and corridors, hand basins, troughs and flooring in the lavatories and the grand reception desk. Lastly, we installed two grand Portland stone and granite entrances one on Regent Street and one on New Burlington Street. The Regent Street entrance also incorporates an abstract bronze inlay featuring a cog design.
