We Just Can’t Wait …
To show a sneaky preview shot of our latest faience project off Rathbone Street! The scaffold is not quite down, so we have not been able to take our professional finished photographs yet, but here are a couple of snaps taken on a phone. This project involved the design and construction of substantial steel supporting structures and framework from which to install large faience units creating two long passageways. To our knowledge these are the first two faience passages like this in London, with the curved nature of the units being particularly complicated to manufacture and install. The striking green colour of the faience was based on the Client’s jade bracelet.
This image was taken from Rathbone Street looking through the first passageway towards the second one that joins to Newman Street.
