Help for Heroes Football
Nimble on their feet and strategic in their play – Szerelmey’s finest football stars joined forces to take on fierce opposition in a five a side football tournament to raise money for Help for Heroes. Our team comprised Mark “in the line of fire” Merrick, Tobi “2 goals” Adewa-Faboro, Andy “I’m taller than the goal post” Butler, Kyle “3 goals” Pinkney and Chris “Scoring from the ½ way line” Mann.
The boys put up a brave fight for the title but sadly, didn’t quite make the podium. On the bright side, they did at least score some goals, put on a fantastic display of footwork and raised money for a brilliant charity. Well done lads.
