From the archives!!
Back in 1981 Szerelmey (or at least one of our early sign boards) appeared in the film Loophole starring Martin Sheen and Susannah York, a British heist film. The building on which our sign appears is the Grade II listed Blackfriars House, a stunning early 20th century building clad in Doulton Carraraware faience, which the Szerelmey Restoration team were restoring at the time of the filming. Some two decades later we returned to Blackfriars House to carry out a further extensive package of restoration and cleaning works.
