Another Award!
One of our recent hard landscaping projects, Wilkins Terrace, UCL, designed by Levitt Bernstein Architects has just won a 2019 Civic Trust Award! This is a fantastic project to have been involved with and one where we undertook a complicated package of works that included the transformation of an existing service yard into a new courtyard and the construction of a new load bearing Portland facade. The quadrangle area was paved with two types of Whitbed Portland stone and included steps, seating, planters and cladding to the external lift shafts. The Civic Trust Awards celebrate the very best in architecture that promotes excellence in design, sustainability, inclusiveness and accessibility; they are Europe’s longest running architectural and built environment awards program. Well done to all of the team!
