Szerelmey Charity Drive

This year Szerelmey has run an incredible charity fundraising campaign in aid of 3 fantastic charities. To do so we have taken on several activities like Movember, Bake off and a Christmas Quiz. With fundraising events cancelled, and retail shops closed, charities need the support of their community so they can be there for those in need during these difficult times. We are very thankful to all those who have supported us and have donated generously! Please see below the details of the charity drive.

Royal Trinity Hospice

We raised money for Royal Trinity Hospice, which is an incredible charity providing support for those and their families at the end of their life. This charity is the only dedicated end of life care provider to over 750,000 people living in central and south west London. To raise money, we had our lovely, John Guest (Senior Contracts Manager) and Mark Chivers (MD – Restoration) take part in Movember. Check out the weekly progress. Their efforts plus the donations for the quiz have so far raised £2,731 for the Royal Trinity Hospice. We are matching the funds raised, bringing the total to a fantastic £5,462.

Macmillan Cancer Support

Our team from Chelsea Barracks have done a sponsored month of NO SHAVING to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. We had best moustaches competition on site which was a lot of fun. Szerelmey pledged to match the total raised at the end of the month which was an impressive £4,910. With Szerelmey’s donation, they have raised whooping £9,850 for Macmillan Cancer. Chickenshed Charity

On the 30th November, Multiplex arranged a bake off at a Private Residence site in Central London to raise money for Chickenshed. Chickenshed is a children’s charity and theatre company that works with children from diverse backgrounds and runs education courses, workshops, and shows. The team contributed the bake off which was one of the first things to sell out!  In total the bake off raised £287 which is fantastic!
