Site Award: Fourth Time in a Row

Congratulations to our Restoration team for winning the Health and Safety Site Award at City Gate House. Our site team has topped the Mace Health and Safety Leader Board for the fourth month in a row! Well done to all Szerelmey employees and subcontractors involved in achieving this, it is something to be proud of.

City Gate House occupies a prominent position on Finsbury Square and is close to both Moorgate and Liverpool Street Stations, as well as Crossrail. The building was originally designed in 1930 by Frederick Gould and Giles Gilbert Scott. In 2002, Bloomberg undertook a comprehensive refurbishment of their London headquarters office building and won the BCO Best Fit-Out of Workplace Award.

We have been contracted for the cleaning and repairs to the external stone and brick facades and internal glazed brickwork courtyard and lightwells. We are also delivering the internal flooring finishes of porcelain and terrazzo.
