What is it: Terrazzo is a composite material that consists of chips of marble, granite, quartz, glass or other hard materials set in cementitious binder or resin.
Characteristics: Lively surface and pattern, great flexibility in colour and pattern from random to designed. Durable and easy to clean. Some flexibility in profiles. Can be precast, panels or poured.
Suitability: Frequently seen in interior flooring but can be used for external purposes including flooring, cladding and detailing.
