Before and After
We have recently completed the three phase of our works at Westminster Palace Gardens, where we have been cleaning and restoring the Grade II listed Victorian red brick and faience facades. The building was designed by architect Charles Pawley in 1897-99 and features an internal courtyard with seven storeys of residential apartments. The building was given a full cleaning and careful repairs made to a number of isolated faience elements, leadwork repairs, refurbishment of the windows and repairs to the brickwork.
During the course of taking our photographs of the building, our intrepid photographer, marketing team and the building manager all got stuck in the lift somewhere between the sixth and seventh floor. The lift managed to “unstick” itself in due course, but not before all of us except the building manager, had a minor panic attack!
