The Quadrant, Network Rail

Szerelmey worked extensively on The Quadrant:MK, the new Network Rail national centre in Milton Keynes drawing on their experience in design, material choice and installation to meet the build programme.

The atrium flooring has an eclectic mix of materials including granite, Yorkstone and solid wood and the added complications of trees and tree grilles. The Szerelmey team installed over 1700 sq m of Scout Moor Yorkstone with specialist craftsmen precision cutting many of the stone floor panels. The interior stone flooring flowed seamlessly through to the exterior where Szerelemy installed a further 450 sq m of Scout Moor Yorkstone. Szerelmey’s work externally included hard landscaping a series of complicated slopes and steps at various entrance points to the complex.
