11-15 Grosvenor Crescent

Principal Contractor: Mace

Architect: Flanagan Lawrence Architects

Package Value: £1.7M

This complicated project involved a restoration package carried out by Szerelmey Restoration and a new build package by Szerelmey Ltd. The project entailed the transformation of five existing early 19th century Grade II listed properties into a number of high-end, residential apartments. The existing facades were retained, cleaned and repaired.

Areas of the buildings behind the retained facades, including a row of mews houses to the back were demolished to make way for new construction to bring the buildings in line with current expectations for high-end residential dwellings. Szerelmey were responsible for all the new Portland stone external cladding, installed at 50mm thick and using corbels and restraints. We also installed the new party wall between buildings 10 and 11 using stone-faced precast concrete panels.
